B I O G R A P H Y
Clara is a commercial and editorial travel, food, interior and portrait/lifestyle photographer.
A Czech native, she grew up in Switzerland, lived in New York City for many years where she received her BFA from Parsons School of Design (the No. 1 ranked art school in the US in 2015) and now - if she's not traveling - spends most of her time in Zurich (Switzerland) and seasonally in her second home in Provence (South of France).
She has worked extensively for magazines and newspapers as well as ad agencies and has published almost a dozen cook books and a couple of wellness themed books.
She has always been known for her sensitive approach to her subject matter while she loves to bring out the beauty in everything - whether on travel assignments or styling a food set. With a sophisticated and light-hearted photographic style she aims to create pictures that spark the senses.
She is available for assignment and commercial work in Europe and destinations worldwide.
Many of her food images can be licensed via Stockfood.
Clara speaks English, German, Czech, French, as well as some Italian - and is now learning Spanish.
