Clara is a commercial and editorial travel, hospitality/food and interior photographer based in Zurich as well as the South of France.

A Czech native, she grew up in Switzerland, lived in New York City for many years where she received her BFA from Parsons School of Design and now - if she's not traveling - splits her time between Zurich (Switzerland), Prague (Czechia), and Provence (France). 

She has worked extensively for travel magazines and newspapers as well as ad agencies and has published a dozen books (mostly food themed).

She has always been appreciated for her sensitive approach to her subject matter while she loves to bring out the beauty in everything - be it a hotel interior detail, a dish she wouldn’t eat (like escargots!) or while roaming land- and cityscapes on travel assignments looking for that ray of late sunlight. With a sophisticated and light-hearted photographic style she aims to create pictures that spark the senses.

She is available for assignments and commercial work throughout Europe and destinations worldwide.

Clara speaks English, (Swiss)German, Czech, and French fluently, and knows some bits of Italian and Spanish. She also enjoys getting creative in the kitchen and is a big fan of great interior design.
